Pros:first of all i really liked the character design
great concept and well handled job at that... i liked the idea where his left arm is a wing and right one is a talon and you kept the right wing where it should loved the muscle tones and structure the lighting on his body is great Cons:couldnt make the thing in the waters down below in to anything???
actually is it water or a plane, hardly recogniseable..maybe but maybe you should try and define the bacground a bit Overall opinion/feedback:overall this is a very strong painting congrats

Anyhows, awesome job, do use layers, they make your life easier. If you don't like using them try analog painting.. it might be your thing, who knows.
